Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very interesting. It is a lot of material, but it is easy to learn if you are interested in it. Physiology is also beneficial because you learn the mysteries of how the body works. Dr. Harvey is an amazing teacher and she will help you no matter what, even the most simple questions. This is a very fun course and I highly recommend taking it with Harvey.

    Course highlights:

I absolutely loved everything about this course. The best part was the labs. Many of the labs taught the students about their sensory systems. It was interesting to learn about how other parts of the body is affected by on hand sitting in ice water. It is also interesting to learn that most people are color blind in some sort of way. For instance a specific shade of red appeared as forest green to me. I have learned many things about myself. There were essays that we had to hand write for the exams as well. These essays were not the most fun, but I learned the majority from these essays. Constantly studying about how oxygen is brought into the body and enters the blood at the same time that Carbon dioxide leaves the blood, it really drills into your memory.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice that I can give is to not procrastinate and Study. If you study throughout the semester, there is less buildup and less studying to be done at once. The information that you study also stays in your long term memory so when that question pops up on the exam, you will know it right away. Procrastinating is one of the worst things you can do in this course. It causes stress and low grades because you have had less time to learn the material or less time for research on the projects or papers.
