Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great way to learn about the human body. Especially if you would like to go into the medical field later in life. As an athlete I can take what I've learned and communicate on an educated level with my doctor if an injury was to occur.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning all the different bones and organ systems in the body. One thing that I learned is that there is only three bones in each phalange and two bones in each thumb.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review the notes that you took in class every night and you should be alright. There wasn't many formulas that you had to memorize. It was mostly memorization like memorizing bones and organ system parts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's good to learn the basic body functions, not only for future classes but everyday life; like in case you get hurt, you can understand what the doctor is talking about.

    Course highlights:

All of the hands on labs and activities really allowed you to visualise what is hppening with in the body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flash cards for all of your tests and make sure they include everything from the study guide and notes. She tests on everything, and for the mid-term exam you won't have all of your packets.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class helped me alot when i got into college anatomy! She fully prepared me because you really have to put time and effort into these kind of classes to memorize all the material. She was a great teacher and made it fun

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about muscles because we spent a lot of time dissecting a cat! she was so thorough in everything she taught; i even use her notes for my college anatomy class. I learned how to work well with others because of all the labs we did.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you dont have a good study ethic, i wouldnt recommend this class. I also wouldnt reccomend it if you have a weak stomach due to all the dissections. This class is a great class to take if you want to do something in the medical field because it kind of gives you and opportunity to see the kind of stuff you would be dealing with on a daily basis. Also, i know teachers always say study in advance, but make flashcards about three days in advance and carry them around with you to study whenever you have a free second.
