Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Kerchoff was easily one of the most influential teachers I had the pleasure of learning from. He made English fun, he was always understanding, and you could see he was passionate about what he did. He truly wanted the best for all of his students and I felt like I learned more from him then I had in all of my previous years in other English classes.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course included a lot of reading such as Oedipus Rex, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and the Odyssey. Mr. Kerchoff always made sure to stop and explain any parts that were difficult to understand, he would also get the class involved in discussions about the material to help things sink in and for us to look at it from different perspectives. He kept it just challenging enough to keep you on your toes, but not so much so that you were discouraged.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be respectful and stay involved. Mr. Kerchoff will give you all the tools to succeed but will not give hand outs. You have to put forth the effort if you want to pass.
