    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely educational. It can definitely teach you a lot about what is going on in our government and society today.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning about all of the marginalized groups, people don't usually mention when history is brought up in a conversation.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It is not an easy course. It takes a lot of studying and patience to be able to understand some of the material but it is totally worth it!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In my junior year, I had considered myself a history buff, but was never that interested. Mr. Ortiz had changed that for me. He had made the lessons and the projects engaging and informative. If you are a Junior in Pace High School, I highly recommend seeing Mr. Ortiz.

    Course highlights:

An in depth look and feel into the history of the United States of America. As well as learning how to work together with different groups of people.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Always be ready to take notes, that is the most important step. Deadlines are also very important, late grades were nonexistent, if you did not turn in your assignment, you failed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The best way to understand the history of our nation is to cover the topic in depth, carefully analyzing ever detail aside with studying the relationships that it had with future events in History.

    Course highlights:

All classes are interesting, however, the teacher is the determinant factor to make a class interesting or ambivalent to the student. Fortunately, my teacher Mr. Ortiz gave his best effort to make the students understand the course while having fun at the same time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, and have an organized binder. Each student has his own way to study but organization will always come in handy.
