    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are good at keeping yourself on a schedule. This class requires a lot more outside work than most classes, but if you can handle it, it is great.

    Course highlights:

Within this course i was able to learn about many global and even local problems that most people do not even think of, such as global warming or prostitution/sex trafficking. Also by taking this course i was able to learn multiple effective ways to research and present the information effectively, which i previously was lacking in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely try to remember not to fall behind because everything has a deadline. Always try to put your best effort forward and you will succeed in the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a course full of complete focus upon research and being able to identify the important factors upon analyzing good components for a global topic.

    Course highlights:

What I gained from taking this course is good researching skills as well as some logical fallacies analyzed. Most importantly being able to tell whether an article is weak or strong.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

They need to pay attention on the key points that need to be addressed when writing about an article. They also need to know how to be fully knowledgable about your topic when you present in class.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class for it greatly prepares you for real world situations. Through many debates and presentations, I learned how to share my viewpoints and opinions and hold a conversation with those who may not share my views. I learned how to write lengthy essays on real world topics and situations, such as health care plans, global warming and social movements, topics that I had never written about in any other class before. This was a great class to take to improve your research and presentation skills. It is also a requirement for attaining the AICE diploma.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to successfully research information about ongoing, relevant topics and relay that into a 1,750 word essay or presentation. I learned how to have a debate and converse with other people on different stand points.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not put off the essays until the last minute! It will ruin your night and it will not be your best work! It can be so easy to slack off in class and save all your work for at home, and then procrastinate it even further. Do not do that!
