Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it isn't like any English course you would take. While there are aspects in it like other English courses, such as vocabulary, the bulk of it is learning about the language as whole. Not how to use it but where it came from and why it is so prominent in so many other countries.

    Course highlights:

I learned not only where the English language came from but I also learned the history of other languages. Aside from that I learned about body language and how people talk when they wish to get a certain point across to someone else.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This course isn't easy if you don't put time into it. You'll be fine as long as you do what the teacher asks you do.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it helps to improve your writing and your understanding of literature. This course helps you analyze the authors viewpoint and forces you to apply historical/political circumstances that affected how they viewed their society and why they wrote the piece as they did.

    Course highlights:

you will gain a higher understanding of history itself. By referring back to the certain time periods the authors where in, you will be able to understand history better than you did before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend that you know your history, at the very least the basics for America. For example what was the civil war, the Jim Crow era, the colonization of America and other countries, etc. if you know these as well as good research skills you will do well

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are into psychology as you are learning about language acquisition and such why people speak the way they do.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about the founders of language acquisition like Jean Piaget. I also learned things like Halliday's functions of language which give purpose to speech.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Create flashcards for all of the terms and make sure you put your all into the essays in order to better understand your capabilities of being able to write the essays.
