    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it to the high school students who want to learn marine biology in a hands on setting. We go on the boat to study marine life, practice with the live tanks and testing the water and have intelligent conversations and discussions about Marine Biology at a sophisticated college level.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about the various sea life, including coral ecology. Coral ecology is going to be my major in college with marine policy so this exposure was perfect for me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to research on your own and stay current.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of how interactive and fun it was. Dr. Ehlers puts a lot of hard work and effort into it. She is determined to help students pass the AICE Exam.

    Course highlights:

I gained both AS level an A level credits form the course. Students get to go out on Sarasota Bay in the CareFree learner (boat) and collect specimens.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the work and do not procrastinate.
