Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you want to take part in an extremely engaging and interesting AP course, I would highly recommend this class. Mr. Fash is a bit of a character, which can be off putting, but he's a lot of fun and he really enjoys the subject he teaches. But if you aren't willing to put in the work he's not going to baby you; you get as much out this class as you're willing to put in.

    Course highlights:

I would say my favorite part of this class was Mr. Fash just because he's so refreshingly different from most other teachers at this school. He can be a bit offensive, but that's just who he is; if the people he makes fun of are laughing, then that's the cue to laugh as well! Most of the units are fairly easy, though the actual biology of the brain is hard to memorize. I liked the rap that we had to make up at the end of the semester!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is generally seen by people as an "easy AP class" and I'll admit that it is. However, that comes with the pain of having lazier students end up in your class just so that they can have an AP course on their transcript. There are a few kids in every class that just sit in the back sleeping so be prepared for that. Also, do your homework and don't get behind on tests!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it as it was a very interesting course. The teacher was great, and a lot of the information carried over into different subjects. The background information I got from human geography helped me understand other chapters in different classes.

    Course highlights:

The population pyramids, and the information on different countries.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on the readings, and study for the tests.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are really into the major wars between the United States and other countries. The class goes through the conflicts very thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were talking about the Holocaust and learning the actions behind it. There's so much history that can be emotional such as the Holocaust and slavery but it's interesting to know the experiences.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you read the book take good thorough, understanding notes. If you are lucky and don't read the book, take notes still on whatever the teacher gives you or lectures you on.
