Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a a good transition from Algebra into Calculus or Trigonometry. You learn even more about Algebra, but you also learn about some simple Calculus ideas. You go over sine and cosine and other things that are helpful in the future.

    Course highlights:

One of the most interesting things that I learned about was actually how to figure out interest. I think that it will be useful to know when I have to take care of myself.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend not forgetting to do your homework. That plagued me a bit in the first semester.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is challenging, but fun. The teacher is fun to be around and keeps things fresh.

    Course highlights:

The class was challenging at times, especially after the review period (somewhere during first and second quarters). After the review, new material was much harder, but only if you didn't do the homework or ask for help.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the class if you are considering it. The teacher does not let you get behind as long as you do your part and ask for help.
