    Course Overview:

This class allows the students to find and research numerous scholarship opportunities. Not only do the students fill out and explore different scholarships there are also speakers invited once a week to share information that is necessary for life after college. This class prepares students for college and life after college by explaining taxes, how to rent an apartments, and how to apply for insurance while describing many other aspects in life.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the speakers and the information they provide. I have learned how to handle difficult situations with money and job opportunities form the material provided by these speakers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you must stay on top of the assignments and do not procrastinate. It is not a hard course, but if you put off your homework it will hurt your grade.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it is helping me to prepare for college. Our teacher posts scholarships so we always have one to apply for. This class has guest speakers come in and talk about the real world.

    Course highlights:

I have applied for many scholarships due to this class. In this class I have learned how to have stronger writing skills. Before being in this class I never had to apply my writing skills. Now that I am in this class I have gotten a lot better at writing.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work, and apply for as many scholarships as possible. Scholarships are like free money to college students so apply. Look for them like you are looking for a part time job.
