    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is very informative of grammar, reading comprehension, research paper, argumentative essays, and more. This class also prepares you for the English sections of the SAT and ACT.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write both an expository and an argumentative essay. My skills as a writer and my time management improved significantly. I learned the importance of Greek and Latin roots. The class pushed me to think deeper and work harder.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I paid attention in class. Took my own notes and I engaged in conversation.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs.Irwin is strict but she's a good teacher and you'll enjoy the class so long as you do the work.

    Course highlights:

You'll learn the "Irwin way" with grammar. She is a stickler for that and for detail. The more detail you give her on the books you read the better off you are.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework when ever you get it or she will bite your head off. Be thorough and detailed and she won't give you any problem.
