Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it's full of great things to learn about yourself & even the mind. The teacher is excellent and always does hands on actives with the class. Make sure you bring a thick notebook because you will be taking lots of notes.

    Course highlights:

Ive gained a lot from this class, I actually really learned to study from this class from it being so difficult in the beginning. Once I adapted myself to know how the teacher was teaching his lessons, I succeed. You learn about the different hemispheres & how each one works. We've even learned about learning, how people use different techniques to learn. I learned about different eating disorders. Did you know that there are 2 different eating disorders, anorexia and bulimia? I really did learn a lot of things I didn't know about, i would recommend this class to everybody in the field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to anybody taking this class, make sure you come to class. Sounds crazy, but coming to class plays a big part. If you don't want to come to class mine as well not take the course. Also reading a chapter ahead is always helpful, he keeps you ahead of the game and alert of new materials being taught. TAKE NOTES!!!! Taking notes is huge, don't just sit in the class & stare at the teacher, he can't write the notes for you, I promise!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is so much fun! If you're into learning about the brain and why people do the things they do, then this is definitely the course for you!

    Course highlights:

My highlight during the course was learning about all of the different experiments people in the past would do in order to learn more about the brain. For example, people used to do lobotomies! (Which is very gross and not humane by all means!)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You should study! Study very hard! The exams are pretty long. About 60 multiple choice questions and 5-7 short answers. I would suggest teaming up with some friends to study! My friend and I would make note cards and stay after school to study for upcoming exams. And boy did it help!
