    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to fellow students who are really serious on pursuing a career in the science field because this is a course that gives you the basics on how everything in the world are created.

    Course highlights:

This course gave me the understanding on what I wanted to become in life. This course also helped me, not only in chemistry, but mathematics as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give this person, would be to try your hardest, take great notes, and know and understand the formulas and rules.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Though chemistry is practically necessary for getting into college, this course is taught mediocre at best. Though we have enriching and interactive labs once a week, the other 4 days spent in class are on boring lectures or worksheets. You will do a lot of worksheets in this class. Did I mention worksheets are used to nausea in this class?

    Course highlights:

I did come to understand concepts about chemistry I previously had never learned. I loved learning about the different states of matter and how they intertwine with each other. The highlights include (these were all lab experiments) the exploding airbag, expanding marshmallow, dilution experiment, and the murder scene investigation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take the powerpoint notes, As they are your study guides for the tests that can be assigned with few days notice. If you have a well organized note section you will have a study guide to ace your exams. Get on the teachers good side, especially if you have her in a later block of the day for she can get more and more irritable as the day progresses.
