Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Through my 13 years of schooling, International Business was the most beneficial class I have ever taken . Why? this class has crucial factors that can help you become the greatest version of a student or person. For example the class as an academy contains 3 years. The first year its International Business, the second is Accounting, and the third is International Finance. Throughout these years, you will first learn the proper way to engage with strangers, how to shake hands, making eye contact, and my favorite, learning how to present in a professional manner. This class is truly not boring and all about finance, numbers, and laws. The teachers do a great job in preparing you for college, and make it easier for you to plan and organize your SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time bound) goals. The emotional support and the help you receive from this class is not like any other. In this class you actually talk about life problems and discuss your difficulties and you receive help from those around you because its not just a class its a family. I truly recommend this class/academy to anyone who doesn't really know what they want to do and hasn't really thought about a career.

    Course highlights:

My favorite things I learned in this class are time management, net working skills and discipline. Time management is key especially for me because I play varsity baseball for my school and I really need to manage and organize my time very well or else my grades would plummet. Networking skills is any skill anyone would really appreciate to have because the world is all about networking and knowing how to speak with others in a educated professional way. Discipline is something you really have to work on, it never is easy to be disciplined, so it takes time to know how lazy and how much you procrastinate so tat you can make a change. For me, my discipline has improved throughout the years mainly because of maturing as a person and realizing that the important things in life take hard work and dedication and truly facing that reality.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you will need to be responsible with your work, stay organized and manage your time very good. Make sure to build a respectful relationship with the teacher, and try to be on her good side no matter what. Also, make sure to use networking skills such as having some way to contact your friends so if you have any questions and you cant reach the teacher you have some type of resource.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Anyone can benefit from this class whether you are planning to go into business or not. Overall, it is a fun and informative class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were all the fun projects. We did projects on other countries of our choice, and we had to present our projects and share all the information that we researched about that specific country. Also, at the end of the year you get to create your own business concept and then present it to the class which helps you think of possible business plans for the future and encourages students to develop an entrepreneur mindset.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to study and get your work done on time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. It helps you with presentation skills and it also provides a vast variety of opportunities such as trade shows and being apart of future business leaders of America. Miss choppa helps you with the core elements needed to be successful in not just the business world but any career path chosen.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of taking this course was the stock market challenge. Everyone formed into groups and were able to take part in the stock market game. This showed us how the stock market works and we learnt how to think strategically. We also learnt about how to use Excel, Word and powerpoint in different ways and also help to further our presentation skills since we all had to present our stocks and how they flourished or were unprofitable over the past couple of weeks.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Time management and paying attention in class are the two key things you need to pass this class. Miss Choppa goes into detail and gives off a lot of important information which you should record and keep track off. Due dates are extremely important also being able to manage your social life and other classes around her projects and assignments is a skill you will need to adapt to.
