    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was the best class I have ever taken. I was pushed to achieve and succeed in such a rigorous course that Mr. Keller made so that it would thoroughly prepare us for the rigor of college life. I genuinely enjoyed that class and the teacher was great, too.

    Course highlights:

We learned all about the in-depth workings of the human body, both the parts and how all the systems work. We also applied our knowledge through multiple practicals that challenged us and several dissections throughout the year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say study a lot because then you'll get more out of the class. Also, cramming definitely helps but also remember to study it throughout the length of the course because just cramming will definitely not get you that A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides a great fundamental knowledge of anatomy and physiology for future college courses. Mr. Keller is an amazing teacher and he takes the time to make sure you understand the topics.

    Course highlights:

This course created a great foundation for my future anatomy classes. I want to Ben an athletic trainer and this course definitely provided me with the knowledge and skills I'm going to need. You are tested (practicals, short answers, multiple choice tests) like you would be in a college setting so you know what to expect when you get there. The directions are amazing and if you show you're willing to put in the effort, Mr.Keller will always be willing to help you out.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study! The teachers are very blunt about what will be in the test. They break it into chunks with checkpoint quizzes so you know what to study throughout a longer period of time. A lot of the time they will give you the exact same questions on the test ahead of time so you can prepare. I always study with my lab partner. We go out to dinner and spend a few hours studying every test and most quizzes. This system worked for us, but it's not for everyone. Find someone in the class you can depend on and be your partner for labs, directions, and studying. Studying is always easier with a partner.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in the medical field. This course is rather strenuous, but really focuses on the human body and all of the incredible functions and parts that come along with it. I am planning on going into the medical field, so right off the bat, this course was interesting to me. I followed along with my teacher's lectures and learned more about my own body than I would've imagined.

    Course highlights:

I learned more in this class than any other course I have taken so far. The work load can be difficult at times, but learning about something that relates to you, as well as the people around you, is an awesome experience. Human Anatomy and Physiology is complex, however, I am extremely grateful that I took this course, because not very often you can stumble across a course that is relatable in your own life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, I believe that you must be interested in the science department and have a positive attitude towards learning something new. This course went very into detail about the smallest of things, so it is very important that one follows the notes, completes all assignments, asks questions, receives extra help when needed and studies for tests and quizzes. This was one of the hardest, yet preeminent classes I have taken and I am very pleased with the amount of information I have learned.
