    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is an intriguing and difficult course that a lot can be learned from.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge that made me understand how our universe works. Many situations that were puzzling and "mysterious" to me as a child made sense to me due to the laws of physics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the assigned reading and homework. Teaching yourself to understand a difficult concept only makes it easier for you in the long run.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course to students who are willing to work hard.

    Course highlights:

Going into this, I had no knowledge of physics. Mr. Pennisi guided us and was a good teacher for the subject as to him being intelligent at physics.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study and memorize physics equations. Understand concepts for the AP exam. Take time to go to the teacher for help when you feel yourself falling behind or do not understand. Mr. Pennisi is always willing to help.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course makes you really think and challenges your brain unlike any other class. You cannot memorize your way through it; you have to understand all the underlying concepts and apply them. But don't let that discourage you! Physics is so fascinating and once you understand it all, it's almost as if you see the world through an entirely different perspective. You will not regret it!

    Course highlights:

This course has improved my critical thinking and logical reasoning skills above all. It is also a college-level course, and I feel as though it has prepared me for what actual college classes will entail. The workload is fair, as long as you stay on top of things. Not to mention, the connection my classmates, the teacher, and I had was incredible because it was as if we were part of the AP Physics "clan" if you will. There aren't many of us, so the bonds you make with your fellow classmates is special!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If there is even the slightest hint of a concept that you don't understand, I implore you to get help to clear things up. One seemingly unimportant concept will rear its ugly head in a more advanced topic later when you're already expected to understand and apply that concept, and it's a snowball effect. It is essential to really understand the hows and whys of everything in this class. That is basically what makes this class "difficult," but if you can follow the principles and concepts (and of course do your homework to strengthen and sharpen your skills), you are golden!
