Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course. I learned so much about writing, and I had so much fun doing it! It probably helped that Mr. Curtin was an amazing teacher, and my classmates were incredible to work with.

    Course highlights:

We did everything from poetry to short stories to video projects. My favorite unit was the poetry unit. I had so much fun getting feedback on all my poems and improving them until I was proud of them. I even learned to share my work, which was a huge step for me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest, on top of everything else, to participate and communicate. Participating in discussions and asking questions enhances the class experience for everyone involved. Communicate any issues or questions to your teacher and necessary classmates.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it allows you to free your mind and write about whatever your heart desires. There are no boundaries in this class and you have every right to speak your mind.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course were being able to express my thoughts through poetry and being comfortable enough to read these aloud to my fellow peers. I don't usually call myself shy, but when I express my personal thoughts, I tend to be a tad quiet. With this class, I was able to express myself in a way where I actually wanted to and didn't feel forced at all.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't think about it, just do it. Don't think about the possibilities of reading out loud if you're nervous. This class will help you come out of your shell and not only will your peers learn something new about you, but you will learn something new about yourself as well.
