    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is greatly recommended if you struggle with your reading skills. Mr. Charvat is an excellent teacher, who's course is geared towards prepping students for AP Spanish. He is a harsh grader, but gives amazing feed back, and is willing to sacrifice his time to help students that may be struggling in his class.

    Course highlights:

The definite highlights of this course would be Mr. Charvat's cheerfulness that he brings to his classroom that gets students excited to learn about Spanish and Spanish speaking countries. He has a great sense of humor, and a great ability in story telling. The majority of what he says is in Spanish so it keeps the students on their toes and listening. In this course you learn how important text marking, and time management as well. This teacher likes to go through lessons fast, causing him to assign large vocabulary lists in a short time span. All of which are manageable if balanced wisely.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, it is important to remember that flashcards and or Quizlet are your friends in this class. Mr. Charvat is good at providing Quizlets that were made ahead of time, but I personally find it more beneficial if I make my own Quizlet. Always make sure you utilize your in class time to ask questions, if not make sure to email. Mr. Charvat is dedicated to his students, and is good on clearing up any uncertainty that may occur.
