Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is preparing me to write all sorts of papers in college and a good way to get used to the college setting and the way classes work. Also it is a great dual credit that can get College English out of the way for those with different majors.

    Course highlights:

I have learned a lot with citation and formatting papers. It has also helped me with time management for future college courses. I also love the variety of writing styles we use.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just jump right in and don't over think taking it. Yes it requires work but nothing that is unimaginable. It teaches students a variety of writing styles and is something that will apply after the course is over in other classes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course due to the fact that I took this class as a Senior in High School. I took it as a dual credit so I received high school credit as well as college credit. The class is not very difficult and the papers are not terribly long. I thing that is stressed in this class is to stay on topic on your papers. "Fluff" will be considered unneeded information and you may be marked off for this.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the feedback I received from my teacher to help my writing style improve.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't think too hard about your papers. Just write what you are feeling and more times than not it will come out with flying colors.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot about the different styles of writing. Also, my teacher made it clear that we were supposed to write a college-level and gave us many tips on how to do so. I received all A's on my papers and my teacher encouraged me on each one to do even better on the next.

    Course highlights:

I loved reading and watching Shakespeare's Hamlet. I also enjoy doing literary analysis papers and I was given the opportunity to write one on Hamlet. I also enjoyed writing a memoir because that was purely reflective writing and gave me the chance to be creative.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate and ask lots of questions! If you try to succeed in this class, you most likely will, and if you succeed, you will definitely enjoy it.
