Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class to everyone because it has really improved my writing ability. The teacher is great at helping me with my writing and pointing out my weakness while helping to improve them.

    Course highlights:

I have gained the knowledge of writing a memoir and making sure my works cited page is in proper MLA format.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

They need to make sure to keep up on their homework and to try on their papers.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a great introduction into college level writing. Not only is it an interesting way to learn but Mrs. Light also challenges you to think more thoroughly about the topics being discussed.

    Course highlights:

My favorite highlight was the final paper where we got to investigate one world problem and attempt to address it in different ways. I took on the growing obesity rate and learned not only how to lead a healthy lifestyle but also how to teach others to do the same.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do a pre-writing no matter how tedious it may seem at the time. This simple task gives you sources, helps you clear up what you want to write on, and makes the rough draft and final copy easier to complete.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very educational to me. This course helped me to become a better writer and be able to point out my peers' mistakes in their writings. It helped me be able to put down the words in my head onto a piece of paper and make it grammatically correct as well as allowed me to help others.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was writing a memoir. This is the fist paper we wrote and in my opinion it was the best one. We got to write about something that impacted us rather than a paper over a book or a movie. But in this class I did learn how to take information from a book or play and put it into a paper.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work. Don't fall behind because you will regret it later. This class can be challenging but if you take it seriously and put in your time it can be fun and it is very educational.
