    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for any and all accounting students. This is just like principles and intermediate just taken to the next level. All the material learned in this course is what you will see in your everyday accounting job from the journal entries to the consolidated worksheets.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the consolidated worksheets. They may be complicated, but once you get the hang of everything they are so easy and if the assets and liabilities are not balanced you know something is incorrect right away. I learned so much there is not enough room, but one thing that stuck out most was how to handle all the eliminations on the consolidated worksheet. Especially how to organize everything and keep numbers in order.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to take a lot of notes. The class notes are a great help from your teacher, but you need to take your own notes of those so you can go back and understand everything and not just see a bunch of numbers on a sheet.
