    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class pushes you to get to that AP level for your junior and senior years. We read quality books and work on rhetorical analysis. The best aspect of the class was doing Socratic Seminars where you debate your opinions on a given topic. The class isn't easy. You can't just show up and do nothing whatever you put into this class you get out.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to better myself as a writer. I have never been too great at grammar and sentence structure, but my teacher wanted me to succeed and help me better my writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Know what your signing up for this is far from a cake walk.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is extensive in writing and therefore requires alot of time and effort. Be sure you are ready to make the time committment; it is definitely worth it.

    Course highlights:

I have learned rhetorical devices with which authors write such as parallelism, and the impact it has on the reader.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be overwhelmed by the content you read. The wording can be tricky, but you will learn in time to process it quickly.
