    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any student who is geared towards a career in the health field or science/math/engineering route as well as any student who generally enjoys being pushed in academia.

    Course highlights:

I loved the environment in this classroom. Mrs. Faria tells jokes often to help alleviate the stress in the room and comes up with different dances, songs, and catchphrases to help you remember important information. For example, "the positive metal cat lives under the staircase" helps students remember that cations are positively charged and found to the left of the staircase on the periodic table.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your homework seriously and do not take advantage of test corrections. This is one of the hardest AP exams to pass, and if you do not do the homework that Mrs. Faria assigns you, you will have difficulty grasping the concepts in this course. She is understanding but the course's difficulty really depends on the student's work ethic.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ap biology helps with students who aspire to be in the science or health field. I want to be a nurse and this course showed me more of the human body and it's systems.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was the labs and experiencesee we had the opportunity to do. I learned a lot about the habits of human and animals.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is imporant and communication between peers about topics you may struggle with.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I felt like the course was extremely interesting and informing.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the environment and the things that people all over the world do that impacts the earth. Those things make a greater impact than most may think and the course just gives you a better perspective. We also learned about like carbon foot prints and things of that nature its actually very interesting and informing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your book, and as your read it take notes. Also when the teacher is teaching be quiet, pay attention, and take notes as well, not only of the things they write down but truly listen and take note of what they might say.
