    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because Ms. Paul is so passionate about her subject. This is my most challenging topic and because of her personality and passion to see me improve, I conquered many of my weaknesses.

    Course highlights:

Making an A on a paper. I learned not to be scared of putting my thoughts on paper. I learned how to get started.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not hesitate to ask questions. Also, when getting started do not self-impose fear of failure. Write freely then tweak.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It comes with much writing and reading. I feel as if I had read more books and written more essays than any of my prior English classes. Her deadlines are very solid and she does not accept late work. I recommend this class for someone that is good at staying on top of things and pushing themselves to dive into each book and even themselves as they write.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how to annotate passages and dive deeper into reading. As well as how to properly write and master the 5 paragraph essay. When I finally mastered it I thought it was very easy to write them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work and meet the deadlines. She is a very pleasant teacher to work with.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is wonderful and very helpful if you don't understand any part of the content.

    Course highlights:

I passed this AP test with a four and was very glad to have learned so much about analyzing short essays and novels.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're willing to put in the work then it is a very rewarding course.
