Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Overall, the profsser was very involved in what he was teaching - he loved teaching us about US History and was helpful in explaining how history has transformed the US and how the programs we have today were created.

    Course highlights:

He told us at the start of the class that World War 2 was not the only thing that happened in US history so he was not going to dwell on the subject - instead I learned more about The New Deal and its programs (some which are still used today), organizations groups such as NOW. Highlight of the course is that there is only one big book report due every semester, when I took the course we were required to read - Warriors Don't Cry which was a biography from one of the Little Rock Niners. Every three weeks, you were to write five essays over the discussed topics and take a exam.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor gives you the essay topics two weeks before it's due - so study for the exam and write the essays WAY ahead of time. Trust me, it'll save you so much time and effort especially midnight coffee breaks.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it for multiple reasons. but the main is that Mr.Heller does not allow for you to pass with no motivation or effort. He is the kind of teacher who pushes you to be your best and study hard so that it shows in your grades. Then when it comes time to do so in real you are already ready for whats next.

    Course highlights:

I learned that their are multiple view of the same point in history i once thought absolute. and he does not put his view on history in to the pure facts he presents.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to take notes in his class and stay attentive. You need to read the passages of the reading he ask you to because everything comes from that section. And you have to at least study what you learned for a hour a night so you can retain the information.
