    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I don't personally find her helpful at all and she fails to answer questions when presented with some.

    Course highlights:

We learned a lot about why certain chemical reactions occur the way they do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You should visit the resource room and ask your friends for questions when she won't answer any.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Black was a very exciting teacher. He never let you feel bored while learning a challenging subject. The class is very interactive and easy to follow along.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the elements and chemical compounds.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are prepared to take this as an honors course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is fun for people that like to test out theories, or people that like to simply recreate experiments that have been proven to work time and time again. Seeing elements and molecules mix, and seeing the many different reactions that take place, makes chemistry an exciting course. I've heard that every chemistry teacher at Warren is awesome, including the one that taught me, Mr. Harkins

    Course highlights:

The big things that I learned in chemistry 1 is how the different elements react with eachother, and also how certain ratios of these elements can make many different molecules, which you learn about in stoichiometry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Chemistry requires high-school level writing skills, and also basic algebra skills. If you're not good with algebra, you might struggle in this course, especially during the stoichiometry unit.
