    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course introduced a lot of new information on various elements of the periodic table, utilized math, and gave hands-on experience to doing tests with the effects of some elements and substances. It started out tough, but gradually got easier as everything begins to click into place.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge on the elements that make up the world around us, such as how they work and why they're important to know. The experiments and demonstrations were intriguing as well, and were a lot of fun in to do in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It starts off tough and appears imposing as if you will dread it, but if you study and fill out the hand-outs, the course begins to become fun and interesting. Paying close attention go everything that is happening, and visiting before or after school if you require assistance, is heavily recommended. If you can manage to keep up, you will find that it flies by. Not because the course is easy, but because you are learning more of its contents every day.

Making ice cream and I learned basic chemistry learning targets

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To take good notes and keep ahold of them throughout the course

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I don't particularly have feeling for it either way, I needed either this class or physics, and I decided this class would be fun. It was challenging, but it had it's highlights.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned a lot about chemical compositions and acids, and how certain chemicals will react with each other.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention and apply yourself. There's usually daily, if not every other day homework in this class, as well as it can be complicated. Also, watch when you do your math; one wrong mistake can snowball. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions. The teacher is really nice and usually really easy to work with.
