    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course because it taught me loads about my home country, which I care deeply about. It gave me a better understanding of why things are the way they are today, and how they got that way.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was definitely our chapter covering the 1960's. I learned some of the underlying problems that were present in the United States that have led to how our nation is today. It helped me to understand that past events lead to current events, and that history is more than just a bunch of dates and names.

    Advice for students:

I highly recommend that students read their textbook in its entirety. This is what I did, and although it sounds boring and maybe even a bit unnecessary, it helped me to have a much deeper understanding of all of American history. By reading the textbook at the same pace as my teacher was lecturing about it (reading the chapter that he was lecturing about before he lectured about it), I got a background knowledge that was reinforced with his lectures.
