    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course so that you have an idea of what to expect from Georgia Tech.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the basics of programming, and I'm beginning to see that there is a similarity between different programming languages and how scripting is done in each one.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely ask for help from professors, and read the book. Make sure that you understand the general concepts of each topic

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is required for all engineering majors. Personally, I found it to be a nice distraction from some of my other more intense courses.

    Course highlights:

I feel as though I thoroughly understood most of the functions of Matlab now.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Start your homework early. Some problems might come easy to you, but when you encounter a difficult one, you don't want to find out an hour before it's due.
