Course Overview:
Dr. Waller really cares about her students. She is committed to teaching the material rather than having her students learning it on their own. Her lectures, although sometimes off topic, will give you a thorough understanding of the material. She runs a really engaging classroom and I would highly recommend. With that said, I would HIGHLY suggest going to her office hours, the extra time with her will benefit your education and your grade. In this class it is definitely possible to get an A, it just takes the time and effort, the material is not that hard.

In this course we learned about distribution families (binomial, geometric, poisson etc.) as well as basic probability laws and vocabulary. Dr. A also puts an emphasis on engineering judgement which will help you in the future.
