    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Required for many majors so this is one you'll have to suffer through, otherwise don't take this

    Course highlights:

The evolution and ecology sections were interesting and taught me a lot

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE PARTICIPATION (IKES, TICAS, HW)! You'll hate yourself if a low participation grade brings down your average in the end. Study by doing the practice tests and Learning Catalytics... don't waste all of your time reading the notes on the website because a lot of it is extra and won't show up on tests.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The way the course is built has many forward-thinking elements. The textbook is a website created by Dr. Choi, and everything except the exams are completed online.

    Course highlights:

The evolution module was my favorite.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the Learning Catalytics questions.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course because Dr. Choi doesn't do much teach himself. He seems to allow the course to be guided by the textbook, and there's almost no purpose of class time itself.

    Course highlights:

He did allow for some interesting in-class activities!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE BOOK! Dr. Choi is known to pull questions from random passages in assigned reading- things not even focused on or discussed in class.
