Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who has a love for science. It is a very informative class that introduces students to the scientific community and teaches us how to think critically.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is learning about a large variety of different topics and how they are all connect to each other. You learn about, cells, viruses, DNA, RNA, evolution, genetics, and a multitude of more topics, each fascinating in their own way.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Tips I would give is to make sure to read the book ahead of time ad to write notes while you are reading. Make sure you write notes on paper because studies show that writing down information on paper has more impact on memorization as opposed to typing.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you enjoyed Biology 1 because the content is similar to that in bio 1, but it's more in depth and you spend more time on how things work verses what things are.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the around the world connections and how research today can help people overcome diseases and genetic inheritances.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This course has a lot of reading and work outside of class. You can't just give in half effort you have to give it all, so what I would suggest is making a scheduled time for each chapter to read and take notes over the chapters. I think that really helped me through the year.
