    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because it does a great job of really putting together the picture that is the United States. The saying "history repeats itself" is there a for a reason, and this course really shows how so much of American History rhymes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course would definitely be the more modern chapters (From the 1950's onwards). These chapters really show the foundations of contemporary society; how the wars and policy-making that occur ed at those times have had a direct influence on modern day America.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be willing to spend time reading the course material. It isn't too much work; only occasionally is a large reading actually required. Being to see connections and understand the greater context of everything is important.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is important to know the history of how the U.S has been shaped and evolved. AP History allows you to dig a bit deeper into history and learn more about the past and even the present.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me was definitely learning about the 20th Century and the different wars like The Great War, World War II, and Vietnam. I learned many things about the causes and effects of each event

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Considering taking AP History is the right thing to do. It will teach you so much more than you think about U.S history and not just the basics. Yes there will be some work, but that is why it is Advanced Placement, for that particular reason. I know the students considering it can be successful in this course
