    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would wholeheartedly recommend this course because it gives a thorough education on United States History through integration of documents, music, art, literature, film, stories, and all other factors to create a cohesive understanding of the subject. Mr. McHale is also an incredible educator.

    Course highlights:

We had quarterly Movie Nights which involved watching some sort of film relating to the current time period being studied and the either answering a series of questions or writing a short essay on it. We also had many discussions about current affairs in the world which really added to my maturity as a young adult in society today. I was able to participate in political conversations with other people because I was provided the education behind it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always keep up with the readings and never shy away from speaking your opinion. The teacher is very welcoming and listens to all insights on the subject.
