    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because of the MEGA Essay, a thirty page essay, that you spend three months of the class writing.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was when we made our own shanty town with tents in front of the school, and stayed there until near midnight.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Just read. Read the books. You'll be okay as long as you read outside of class.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this to someone who has a lot of motivation. This class is nothing but essays and talking about the books you've read. Unfortunately my motivation faded throughout the year, and I struggled to keep up with all the essays and reading. Even though I struggled, I know many people who were able to keep up just fine. So yes, I would recommend this class to other people.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was learning new ways to write essays. Before this class, I had only learned how to write your standard 5-paragraph essay. After this class, I know many different ways to write essays that are much more fun and interesting than the 5-paragraph essay. This was one of the hardest classes I have ever taken, but it was also the best class I've ever taken.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up. It's a really tough class but you have so much fun in there. You learn so many new things. Everything you thought you knew about writing essays turns out to be wrong, but you take it one step at a time and enter a whole new world.
