Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Sparks is a delightful teacher, with a wonderful sense of humor, and an uncanny ability for teaching. The class itself is a great way to help you overcome anxiety and social awkwardness, as well as a great introduction into the wonderful world of theatre.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this class is the performances. Throughout the trimester, you are expected to do a number of performances. Including, but not limited to: improvisational scenes, monologues, group performance, etc...

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be yourself. Don't be afraid to get up and perform. Hesitation is your worst enemy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course as a timid freshman, it pushed me to be much more confident and expressive. As a dancer, it improved my performance greatly and made me make new artistic choices and to encourage others to do the same.

    Course highlights:

I gained a greater appreciation for theater from this course, even already going into it with a massive love for the arts. I gained confidence that I've carried with me and built upon years after. This course allowed became more expressive and willing to take artistic risks.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be brave! Try things you've never tried before and make good artistic choices. Everyone else is trying and having fun and this class is meant for experimenting. Just have fun with it.
