    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Brown is a fantastic teacher, and although the content was hefty, I felt more than prepared for the AP exam and obtained a 5.

    Course highlights:

Beyond the mathematic content, I feel as though this course improved my time management skills and my cognitive thinking.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do your homework - this may seem like an obvious answer, however, Mr. Brown only does homework checks for each chapter, as opposed to every day, and this makes it easy to fall behind if you have other classes to focus on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although the classwork was taxing when coupled with APUSH and heavy theatre involvement, the knowledge I gained has proven to be indispensable. I continue using it today in my physics class, and the course work will be further beneficial in college, as I earned a 5 on the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

The best skill I obtained from this class was likely my analysis skills. I have always been relatively analytical, but the different approaches we used for answering questions served to make other aspects of my life easier to approach, and Mr. Brown instilled these skills in such a way that was less stressful than other instructors.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important thing to do is staying up to date on work. Mr. Brown always checked homework in bulk, and it was easy to fall behind and not do well on the homework checks.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Best math class. Everything you learn builds upon itself.

    Course highlights:

    I liked derivatives and integrals.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind on your work.
