Not too easy. Not too difficult.
A requirement of the MS Accounting program, Business Law introduces students to the basics of corporate law in respect to financial dealings.
A major takeaway from this course: it will thoroughly prepare you for business writing, especially in the areas of digesting a high volume of concepts and relating that to specific situations. As an accounting student I did not realize how much the intricacies of business law permeates the accounting profession. You will have a far better understanding of how accounting practices have developed as a result to the conflicts and resolutions resulting from Business Law.

Advice for students:
Prepare yourself for a high volume of reading and short, weekly writing assignments. As dense as the material is, Prof. Bruckner contrasts the content with colorful presentations and lively discussion. Reading is necessary to actively participate in the classes, and exams are guided by the powerpoint presentations and are open book.
