    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Environmental Science gave me the opportunity to learn about our Earth and how humans as a species are damaging it. With the incorporation of current events and everyday scenarios, I was able to see our earth and society as I never had before.

    Course highlights:

The main topics of learning were mining, deforestation, poaching, pollution, renewable and nonrenewable energy, agriculture, and the effect they all have on the environment. The change in my perspective from indifferent to concerned was the highlight of the course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Downloading the online version of the textbook to where it is accessible at all times was extremely beneficial. Also, staying up to date with the news and seeing what you learn in everyday life will further enrich your learning.
