    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it has allowed me to broadened the amounts of literature I am exposed to. I've always loved English, therefore taking AP was a well needed push to consume as much information about this amazing subject. I learned to actually analyze pieces of writing and talk in depth about a phrase that seemed so tedious , but was actually extremely significant.

    Course highlights:

My highlight of this course was presenting a persuasive speech in front of the class about the School-to-prison pipeline system. I learned how to express confidence and eye contact when speaking in a classroom setting. I really enjoyed how my teacher allowed us to research and present a topic we each individually felt passionate about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students considering this course how important it is to keep up with all of the work. There is lots of homework, classwork and discussions within taking this course. Therefore, the goal should be to always complete assignments before deadlines and give input in class discussion even if their shy, their voice will always matters.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.
