    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even if this isn't a required course at your high school I still recommend taking this class. The course includes many different hands on assignments and cool instructional videos that showcase how chemical reactions take place everyday all around us.

    Course highlights:

In this course I participated in many labs where we worked with various scientific tools such as microscopes and worked with different chemicals. A few of the topics we learned was stoichiometry, moles, and types of chemical bonds. Overall, this course includes a bit of math and problem solving skills in order to be successful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course I would make sure to always show up and be attentive in class as any day you miss is a day where you're most likely learning a lot of new content. Also, ask your teacher to help if you can't figure out how to solve any of the major math based problems as they will be in a lot of your tests in that class and you want to be able to do them easily.
