    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course in general is recommended because it is about the United States and touches upon topics that youth should be aware of. Taking AP Gov sparked my interest more in depth with politics and social affairs and has helped with other courses such as AP US history.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge about the court cases that have occurred and the way America has developed over time. It showed that U.S. as a whole has experienced different times of turmoil and has improved.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn how to outline correctly and take good notes. Everything is very specific when it comes to laws and ammendments.

It was a fun course and a good introduction of what to expect from an AP class in high school.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about how our government works, the court cases that set precedent for our laws today and endless more about our nation's history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just read your assigned textbook readings and take notes and it's impossible not to succeed.
