Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class doesn't just teach note taking and study. It's a class that's built to ensure a student's future. This year I have learned how to file my FAFSA, apply for colleges and scholarships. I also learned how to become a more socially aware student. This class is amazing, I would recommend it to everyone.

    Course highlights:

By far my favorite course was researching possible colleges. As a student who wasn't sure where she wanted to go to college, this unit was very important. As a class, we completed many research projects and comparisons to help students decide where they wanted to attend school. I learned that I didn't want to attend a big school but I also wanted to be close to a city. I had never thought of the little details of picking a college until AVID.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would inform the students, that all they need to do is go to class with a positive attitude and be prepare to learn something new every class.
