This class was tough.
I wouldn't recommend taking the Honors course for this subject because the pace is very fast set and you will need to study vigorously in the textbook. This is a class that you cannot slack on or forget to do your work. You must also always be on your A game. Mr. Juba gets off topic very quickly and is easily distracted by his neighboring teacher, side conversations, and food.
From taking this course, I mainly learned about ionic compounds and how they are formed and therefore, what they do and react to.
Hours per week:
Advice for students:
Be prepared to take one or two nights a week where you cannot be with friends or other activities just to study all night and make sure to take very detailed notes. If you have a laptop, take notes on that because you can google images to correspond with your notes. This makes it easier than drawings in your notebook.
