    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course to anyone who enjoys learning and overcoming difficult challenges. Its a rigorous fast-paced course in the sense that it combines two levels of calculus into ten months, completed with an AP exam at the end to test your cumulative knowledge and grant college credit appropriately. The content of this course is very interesting and it provides a new aspect on all the math that you have been learning prior to this course.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course, i have expanded my mathematic knowledge greatly. Calculus takes what you've learned in classes such as algebra and pre-calculus, then goes to explain the math behind the math. It broadens your aspect on math and makes sense of things that didn't makes too much sense in the past. For example, in the past, say a teacher told you to use a specific formula or a "given" "just because that's the way it is". Well, in calculus, you learn the reason to why that is a given, as well as many other interesting things, like how your calculator actually functions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My number one piece of advice to students taking this course is to never give up or lose hope in this class! As a student who took this course, I can say that this course is HARD. It tests your emotional strength as well as your intellect. The key is to stick with it and take the course step by step and master the contents one at a time. Ask many many many questions until you have a tight grasp on the information presented. Don't let your assignments stack up and most of all dint procrastinate on learning the content because it builds on top of each other.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Extremely hard class in my opinion, but the fact that you can gain college credit is one of the only benefits

    Course highlights:

I learned how to stop procrastinating and actually ask questions when I don't know a subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You really have to study. I used to just go through class and homework, but this class forced me to work for the grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it prepares you for a college level math class.

    Course highlights:

One of the best parts of this class is if you do well on the AP exam at the end of the year you will most likely not have to take statistics in college. In this class you learn the fundamentals of statistics and how to apply it to real life scenarios.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on the homework and always study for the tests.
