    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a great learning experience, and the teacher was great at her job. She prepared each student well enough to qualify on the AP exam and allow us to move forward with greater knowledge than what we entered with.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything about America's history, from the first Native Americans until modern day. I learned about the development of the country from the Articles of Confederation through the Constitution and the development to the government we have today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a little bit each day, and do not cram studying into one night. Take well-written, thorough notes and look over them multiple times before tests. Always read the assigned material and make sure you understand all the content. If not, ask for help!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although it is not impossible to excel in this course, I am not a strong history person and the overall work required for this course exceeded the expectations of not only me but many others in my class.

    Course highlights:

I feel like I really did learn how to study by taking this class. I had never had to do this before because of the academic gift I have received from God but there was no way I would have passed at all if it weren't for late night studying and taking notes.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are ready for this. You will have many nights where you will not have sufficient sleep but you will have to get in there and pass a test. Never skip assigned reading. You never know when you will have a pop quiz.
