Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class if you are at all interested in the medical field. This course will help you determine if pursuing a career in medicine is right for you. The rotation period through the hospital can also help you figure out what field of medicine you may want pursue!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course is the week in which you are able to choose what specialty you would like to shadow. This specialty does not have to be limited to the hospital, so this is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and shadow something brand new.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for students taking this course is to go in with an open mind. Everything that happens in the hospital isn’t pretty, but it’s important to remember that you are there to help these people who are unable to help themselves. It is also important to remember to ask questions. Some of the doctors and nurses may seem intimidating at first, but they understand that you want to learn, and will be more than happy to answer all your questions.
