Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are looking for a career in math, this is the course to take! The teacher is amazing! She really cares about her students and works with them on a personal level to ensure they get what they need from the course. She's also really sweet and will spend her time after school to make sure you have learned what she taught.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the unit circle and anything and everything about triangles! I used sine, cosine, and tangent in order to solve for missing angles and sides. I also learned all the rules for solving triangles as well as real world application of said problems! A lot of this course was triangles but triangles are such an important topic, especially in architecture.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you hate shapes, this is probably not a good course to take. If you just got off of geometry though, and you despise proofs and that is the only reason you think trig will be bad, don't worry. There are no proofs in trig that you will have to worry about! I suggest at least trying this course, it's not that bad when you get down to it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am sincerely hopeful that anybody if they put their mind to it, trig is not your enemy, it would be your friend. Some may not realize this but, trigonometry is applied particularly in every day of their life.

    Course highlights:

I have gained how basic sin, cosine and tangent works in a right triangle. Also, how trigonometry is applied on a police car's speedometer and what type of angle is needed to set on the alarm. The conversion of radians to degrees vice versa. Learned about Pythagoras and other mathematicians in the early ages who contributed to math.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To practice at least what learned everyday to memorize the formula and the style of equations needed to solve on a quiz.
