    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course extremely to anyone who loves to delve into nonfiction books that look back upon the proliferation of socioeconomic issues in past decade, which caused racial discrimination and mistreatment. The class also discusses grammatical structure and an expansive set of vocabulary.

    Course highlights:

Reading Frederick Douglass was my favorite part of the class. We learned that perseverance can withstand any oppression. I also enjoyed learning about rhetoric and different literary devices. We focused on the greek rhetorical devices, ethos, pathos, and logos the most. This enhanced our essay writing skills, since it allowed us to persuade the reader in a different aspect than we previously could.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be patient and study the literary devices, because they will show up

i learned that group work is the way to go, and the people of our school are really connected and will help you out if you're struggling

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

pick a good table, get good at multiple choice, and make friends in other classes so they can help if you don't understand

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a course that can be fun but it taught me how to write better and use my words in a better combination to sound smarter.

    Course highlights:

We would go through vocab review as a game and that was cool. It helped a lot with vocab and the amount of work needed to succeed in testing.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your vocab because that is what allows you to express yourself more intelligently and it allows you to look good in front of the teacher.
