    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a great class if you enjoy literature and writing, or if you feel unchallenged in "regular" math classes. It is very reading and writing heavy, and does require a lot of work, but the effort, in my opinion, is well worth it.

    Course highlights:

We explored the various eras of literature, spanning from Shakespearean times to modern text. We participated in many literature discussion groups and class debates/discussions. There were many, MANY essays and "AP style" multiple choice tests and quizzes. Nearly all of the material was to be read outside of class hours.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every single book assigned, even if you hate it.
