Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Debrot is an amazing teacher, I wouldn't recommend anyone else. She has a drive and passion for literature, she lectures and reads from the beginning bell to the end bell.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to appropriately work my emotions into my writings.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the books! And be respectful, she doesn't have to teach you the way she does.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class with Mrs. Debrot! She makes learning fun, and she is very encouraging. She likes for everyone to be involved and share their thoughts on things. Also, she discusses things in great depth to make sure everyone understands what's going on.

    Course highlights:

This class has really helped me break out of my shell and be less shy. I learned to participate way more in class and share my opinion on things because someone may learn just as much from my thoughts as I learn from theirs. Plus, it's good to hear things from a different perspective.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be yourself and definitely voice your opinion.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any student with a desire to earn some college credit before college. This student would need to be persistent in getting work assignments accomplished, determined to succeed no matter how difficult the assignment may become.

    Course highlights:

I have gained study habits from this course, and gained the ability to read a book in a short amount of time. I have also learned to analyze extended metaphors in the work of authors like Charles Dickens, and Mark Twain. I am continuing to learn that if you treat characters in books as though they are real life entities, it is much more enjoyable and easy to understand the books... as well as hidden literary elements the authors place in their books.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to read to succeed. The best study tip I can give to anyone entering this course is to: when you read, make notes over the paragraphs, the chapters, and the evolution or lack thereof the characters.
